Hey friends, hoping that you're enjoying the day already! (It’s about 5 AM in India) Yes, I got up early to specifically put my energy into this, so hopefully you’ll love this one. So the last 3 months have been a roller coaster ride: I joined Lemon Squeezy as Technical Support Engineer, brought down the ticket queue from 1200+ to 100+ with the team, launched launchfa.st, got laid off, had cornea ulcer and braces! BUT I’ve been keeping an eye (now it’s all good) on the web as always.
Learning links of the month
Astro 3.0: If you want to launch a product, and just know HTML, look no further than Astro. I’ve been using it since it’s launched from v1 to v3, and it’s literally as easy as HTML :)
FastAPI: Love the ease with which you can launch Python web apps with FastAPI. It’s even lot simpler than Flask.
Redis Transactions: Ensuring changes in your Redis database are truly done as you write them in code, Redis offers Transactions to make that happen.
ruins of Svelte: Svelte is Rethinking 'rethinking reactivity' while building for the web?
Algora: If you want to earn monies from creating PRs on GitHub, start with Algora.io!
Something that interested me this month
144 stars in day and generated 300$ in a day 🤯
Launchfa.st — Launching startups in day, not in a week
Launchfa.st is an Astro boilerplate which helps you launch products while working on web fundamentals to deliver a fast, slick, and resilient user experience. The boilerplate comes in with loaded functionalities: sending emails, authorising users, managing Redis database, and capturing payments.
Thought of the month
Life has been a real roller coaster for the past month (I think of all is like that?). I am glad that I started prioritising my health, cutting down social media to at a maximum of 30 minutes a day, and following Dan Go’s tips. I have observed over the past months, the food I put in my body has impacted my mood nearly immediately. So I left most of it (even fizzy drinks), leaving the space for desi Indian food (minus the oil rich food), and don’t-miss-two-days routine of 10K steps. All of these changes are definitely adding positivity, energy, and changing the way I’m carrying myself.
Just take that one step to make yourself healthier each day, it’s not BIG but it’s WORTH it.
